Monthly Paid Website Policy

This policy is specifically for those on a monthly website plan.

Payment Terms: Payments for our services are due on a monthly basis, payments are managed and provided by Stripe. An invoice and receipt are available upon request. The payment is due on the date of each month that you signed up. We accept payments from most cards, you can find more about what payment methods we accept here. 

Late payments: All late payments must be paid in full, if these are not paid, we have the right to cancel the membership and deactivate your website. We ask that you have the available funds in your account at all times or payments won’t be processed.

Cancellation Policy: You can cancel your website membership at anytime, that month’s payment will still be due. Once cancelled your website and hosting will be taken offline. Once you cancel you cannot have access to your website or export it to be hosted elsewhere. 

Refund Policy: If the product or service consistently fails to perform as advertised due to technical faults or errors that cannot be adequately resolved through support, the customer may request a refund. Any setup fees are nonrefundable. If the product or service is not delivered within the agreed-upon timeframe or if the service provider fails to fulfill their obligations outlined in the agreement, the customer may be entitled to a refund. In cases where the customer inadvertently makes duplicate payments for the same product or service, they may request a refund for the excess amount paid. If the customer discovers unauthorized charges on their account related to the product or service, they may request a refund for those charges. We will not give a refund under the following circumstances; the customer changes there mind and doesn’t want the site anymore, they don’t like the design or functionality of the site. If they decide they like the website and then decide they do not. 

Service Suspension or Termination: If the customers decides they want to pause payments and take the website offline, the website will be stored for up to 6 months. We have the right to terminate the service if payments are not made or if a customer engages in rude, disrespectful, or unreasonable behaviour towards our staff or other clients. Such behaviour includes but is not limited to verbal abuse, harassment, or unreasonable demands.

Ownership and Intellectual Property:When subscribing to our monthly payment plan, the ownership of the website remains with our company. However, clients have the option to gain ownership of the website by paying for a year of service upfront. Any third party or other software that is used is also owned by Developer Rocket. 

Data Protection and Privacy:

We prioritize the security and privacy of our clients’ information. We collect and securely store only essential data necessary for providing our services. This includes:

  • Payment information, processed securely
  • Client name
  • Website details

We do not share this information with third parties except as required for payment processing or as mandated by law. We adhere to industry-standard security measures to protect client data from unauthorized access or disclosure.

Clients’ trust is paramount to us, and we are committed to maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of their information.

Support and Maintenance: When you sign up to our monthly serivces you may have a maintenance/ support package. The number of hours will be specificed when signing up. You can contact support by emailing us directly or via our support website https://developerrocket.host/. If you are signed up to the £25 a month package you will get 1 hour of support, once this is done you may be charged extra for changes or you may have to wait until the next month for the changes to be made. Response time will be no more than 3 days, but normally within 24 hours. Additional hours worked are chargeable at £30 an hour. 

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify the terms and conditions of our services at any time without prior notice. Changes to the terms will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.

Clients will be notified of any material changes to the terms via email or through other communication channels. It is the responsibility of clients to review the updated terms periodically. Continued use of our services after the effective date of the changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

If clients do not agree with the updated terms, they have the option to terminate their subscription in accordance with our cancellation policy.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of any disputes or disagreements arising between Developer Rocket and our clients regarding our services or terms of use, we are committed to resolving them promptly and amicably.

Cancellation: If disputes cannot be resolved then Developer Rocket as the right to immediately cancel the membership.
